We have a whole system to prepare children for life, which is ALWAYS preparation, and never actually gets there.
We send children to grade school, and then to junior high. Oh but then there is high school, and then when you go on to college, if you are smart you can go to graduate school and stay a perpetual student.
Finally graduating and going on to work for the rest of your life to prepare for retirement.
Finally, old age has arrived... this moment you have been waiting all of your youthful life for !
Now you are old and with physical limitation, impotence, false teeth and no energy.
Time to spend life doing what YOU REALLY WANT TO DO. But most people at this time don't actually know what they want to do.
Why is that??
I believe it's because most people spend there lives not listening to their inner voice that tells them what THEY like and what THEY want - instead, listening to what society tells them they should, instead of going within to ask "what do I really want?.."
When we get in touch with that little voice inside of us, we can hear our true calling.
TO DO WHAT MAKES US HAPPY!
LIFE IS WHAT YOU MAKE IT! :)
